Couple advantages and uses of these pins:
- Quick to use for setting simple 90 degree angles
- Use as locating features or stops on odd shapes or in tight spaces
- Square body allows you to easily clamp a workpiece to the fixture
- Hole on top is useful for adding some height to a quick clamp or bullseye plier
